IRELAND SCHOOL OF FALCONRY

Flying hawks is a magical experience and one you will not want to miss. If you’re planning a trip to Ireland, it’s a must do event. Just two and a half hours from Dublin, on the edge of the Wild West of Connemara, is Ashford Castle, home to the oldest Falconry School in Ireland, The Ireland School of Falconry. The hawks are trained on site and are flown everyday. That’s where you come in. You get to be part of this critical flight training, and in the process be transformed by the sheer wonder of it all.

The Hawk Walks are private and by appointment only. Your flight Instructor will greet you, show you the facility and introduce you to the cast, including their individual strengths and personalities. You will be instructed on all aspects of flying the hawk, meet your winged companion, and set off into the woods and hunting habitats for an unforgettable life moment.
