WRITING RETREATS

Writing retreats are a great way to see the world and do what you love: travel & write. If you’re a blogger, it’s a goldmine of content, facts, information, photographs that say 1,000 words, never-ending stories, people who become friends, and enough adventure to fill your blog with endless memories, while leaving a trail for others to follow.

IRELAND WRITING RETREAT: A personal favorite. My daughter and I attended this retreat in Donegal, Ireland in 2022. It was epic. Donegal is a windswept, austere, Gaeilgh speaking area in the north of Donegal County, Republic of Ireland. The accommodations, Teac Jack [chalk Jack], means “house", in Irish, and in this case, it is the Bed & Breakfast we stayed at near Gweedore, Co. Donegal, Ireland. They also have retreats in France.
